ALSANA: Eating Disorders Support Group
Alsana is an Eating Recovery Center and Community that believes healing happens in relationships. The Alsana National Admissions Office provides a free online eating disorder support group every other Friday at 12 pm PST. This group is educational in nature and provides participants with an online community in which one can receive support and encouragement from the facilitator as well as peers. All are welcome and they would love to have you join them. This group is not a replacement for therapy. Alsana will need you to fill out a short waiver stating that you understand this is not a replacement for eating disorder treatment.

ANAD Caregiver or Sibling Support Groups
F.E.A.S.T. and ANAD have teamed up to develop support group options for caregivers and siblings of those with eating disorders. Led by peers who have been there, they will offer space to connect, learn, and feel less alone.
Each group is completely FREE and 75 minutes in duration. It can take up to 5 business days for registrations to process. Upon processing, you will receive weekly group reminder emails with the zoom link. Additionally, please check your spam folders for communications.
The caregiver group is open to parents, spouses, roommates, and others in the position of providing support to someone navigating an eating disorder.
The sibling group is open to those 15 years of age and older who have a sibling navigating an eating disorder.

ANAD Teen Support Group
ANAD’s eating disorder support groups provide a free, virtual space where people can come together and find community in recovery. ANAD is offering a support group specifically for adolescents. Please find more information and registration on their website.

ANAD Recovery Mentor
ANAD’s Recovery Mentorship Program offers free eating disorder support online for those who struggle with eating disorders but are motivated to recover. ANAD mentors are people who have walked the difficult road to recovery from their eating disorder and are recovered for at least 2 years. Mentors spend six months working with and supporting their mentees as a source of hope, wisdom, and empathy. Find more information and sign up on ANAD’s website

This meeting is OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY and invites all individuals recovering from Binge Eating Disorder. The Support in Recovery™ group provides an opportunity to process issues related to the recovery journey and offers support in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

Equip Family Support Groups

Parents Helping Parents
Parents Helping Parents (PHP) provides support, information, and resources to families raising children of any age with any disability. PHP also assists professionals working within the disability community. We deliver workshops on disability services and policies and provide relevant and robust online content. In addition, PHP facilitates parent-to-parent interactions via support groups and 1:1 connections. Virtually all PHP services are provided free of charge. Ultimately, parents who are supported and have information can build a brighter future for their child. Project HEAL and Clinician's Incubator
Through Project HEAL’s partnership with Clinician’s Incubator, you may apply for free, weekly, virtual, meal support. Meal support sessions are live, facilitated, virtual drop-in group meals creating a safe space for those at an outpatient stage of eating disorder recovery to consume nutrition with extra support. All meal support sessions are facilitated by nutrition practitioners within the Clinician’s Incubator training program who are in process of obtaining their CNS certification. A CNS certification requires a graduate degree, extensive supervision and board approval and is an advanced nutrition credential eligible for licensure in most states.

SupportED Spoonies: Navigating Eating Disorder Recovery with Chronic Illness
Join Tessa Gordon, MA, LMFT, RYT for an 8 week online group for those navigating eating disorder recovery while living with a chronic health condition/disability. Tessa Gordon: Virtual Teen Food and Body Image Support Group
Tessa Gordon, MA, LMFT, RYT hosts several online support groups related to eating disorders and body image. This 8-week support group is for teens (age 13-18) who are in recovery from an eating disorder, and will create space to explore the unique experiences teens face while navigating recovery beyond the limits of food and body, including: school, academics, family dynamics, peer relationships, athletics, and more. The group will explore the effects of social media, diet culture, experiences of discrimination, and weight stigma on body image through a Health At Every Size -informed and social justice approach.
Participants will be able to connect and share with peers, through journaling, mindfulness activities, and advocacy. Tools and strategies will be shared to support participants in their journey towards body neutrality, respect, acceptance, and liberation. Click here to register.

The Eating Disorder Foundation
EDF has offered support groups since its founding in 2003, starting with a single support group devoted to the families and friends of those suffering from eating disorders. These support groups have demonstrated considerable impact on each individual as they work toward recovery, maintain their personal mental health, and build an ongoing community that is vital to healing.
Support groups are facilitated by licensed professionals and Master’s-level clinicians with the assistance of practicum graduate students.

Thrive Eating Disorder Support Group for Family & Loved Ones
