TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: My therapeutic approach is primarily cognitive behavioral though I often integrate techniques as appropriate from other empirically supported treatments. Therapy is a collaboration. My style is active, warm and compassionate.

Recovery from an eating disorder is 100% possible. Recovery means no longer using weight/shape to define your self worth. It means learning how to cope with unpleasant emotions without using food. Recovery does not mean that you will never struggle with the same issues– it just means that you will have the tools to deal with them if/when they arise.
