EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERTISE: I have been working in the field for over 30 years. I studied Nutrition Science in Grad School, then worked for Carolyn Costin under her supervision for 5 years. Since then, I work with individual clients who are always my best teachers.
TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: Eating Disorders are a symptom, not the problem. To fully heal one must be willing to do the deeper work to get to know themselves and how food and body image are on the surface of much more significant issues. That full recovery is possible, and that changing how one thinks can change the relationship to food permanently.
