EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERTISE: At The Lotus Collaborative, we utilize the American Psychiatric Association (APA) Eating Disorder Treatment Guidelines. All of our staff specialize in eating disorder treatment and are warm, wise, and passionate. It’s very important to us that you feel heard, respected, and empowered. Our treatment program is designed to minimize disruptions to your work/school/family lives and to be a supplement to outpatient treatment. We deeply respect your willingness to share yourself, your life and recovery with us.

TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: The Lotus Collaborative believes it’s important that we understand the unique individual you are: who you are, where you’ve been, what you’re struggling with, what your strengths are, and where you’d like to go from here. We believe in meeting people where they are at and that you don’t have to want to recover from an eating disorder in order to get help or seek treatment. Definitions of what “recovery” looks like vary from person to person and this is something we define together. Collaboratively, we can help you determine your recovery goals and develop a treatment plan specifically designed for you. You will not be pressured to give up your eating disorder but instead will be supported to achieve optimum physical and emotional health whatever stage of change you are in. If someone would like to fully recover from an eating disorder, we believe it’s possible by breaking the addictive cycle, learning healthier coping skills, and not only move on… but thrive! There are many people, including some of your treatment staff, who have found peace in recovery and now fully enjoy their lives, eating disorder free. Lotus Collaborative also provides free assessments that can be booked online and a free support group on Sundays. Please see our website for more information.

FEES: Cash, Credit Cards, Payment Plans, Personal Checks, Sliding Scale Insurance – We obtain Single Case Agreements for clients. “Provider out of the network” in a PPO – Will bill on behalf of patient. Coverage of our services largely depends on your insurance policy as well as the type of treatment you are pursuing. The Lotus Collaborative’s Intensive Outpatient Program and Partial Hospitalization Program for eating disorders are considered in-network with Anthem, Cigna, and MHN subscribers. We can also work with Kaiser subscribers who have a referral from their Kaiser provider. Additionally, we can often negotiate in-network coverage with many other private insurance companies. For clients that do not have insurance benefits, we offer private-pay, and sliding scale options.
