Parents who have an adolescent (age 12-17 years) with a diagnosis of Anorexia Nervosa (AN) are invited to participate in an online multifamily Guided Self-Help Family-Based Treatment group through Stanford University’s Eating Disorder Program! By participating in this study, parents receive online Guided Parental Self-Help FBT through a video platform and attend a multifamily parent group that meets for 60 minutes a week for 12 weeks. Adolescents will be asked to participate in assessment timepoints only.
Who can participate?
– Parents/caregivers of an adolescent with AN between the ages of 12-17 years
– Parents and adolescent able to speak and read English
– Access to a computer with internet
– Adolescent lives with at least one parent
– Adolescent is medically stable for outpatient remote treatment
