EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERTISE: Pediatrics Residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Adolescent Medicine Fellowship at UCSF. I have been caring for patients with Eating Disorders since 2004. I am the Medical Director of the UCSF Eating Disorder Program.

TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: Typically, we aim to take a family centered approach. I collaborate with community psychologists and other mental health providers as well as working with our integrated multi-disciplinary team at UCSF

Yes, I think it is possible to recover from an eating disorder. I define recovery as physically healthy and free of mental health symptoms.
