EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERTISE: Reasons Eating Disorder Center places high importance on utilizing highly skilled and trained eating disorder treatment professionals in our programs. We believe in a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment which includes doctors, nurses, dietitians, therapists, mental health workers, diet aides, and somatic and experiential therapies.
TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY:Healing is a fundamental aspect of eating disorder treatment. We understand eating disorders are rooted in and driven by anxiety and profound disruptions to one’s sense of self. Through treatment, we offer you hope rooted in the belief that you are capable of living an authentic life of meaning and connectedness. We have a trauma-informed care approach that is focused on four key philosophical tenents: 1)Personalized Treatment 2) Focus on Wholeness and Integration 3) Relationships are Important 4) Safety Comes From Challenges. As a treatment team, we take into account and respond to the whole person, treating both symptoms and behaviors as well as what lies deeper. We consider the life experiences of our patients and collaborate with each person individually in restoring and moving toward hope for the future. We explore values, identity, spirituality, and help each of our patients find meaning on their life path.

INSURANCE: Almost all. Can work within LA County to accept MediCal plans, in network with Kaiser and we are a certified Tricare provider. Medicare accepted for inpatient.
