TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: I am interested in treating the whole person. I practice
Behavioral therapy (DBT) as well as Art therapy so that clients can learn and apply new,
non food related coping skills, and also experience emotions differently through the use
of art.
I think it is possible to recover from an eating disorder. Recovery means having a life
worth living. It may or may not mean being symptom free forever, especially since
eating disorders for many people are cyclical in nature. However, it is possible for
everyone to feel in control over their lives and their eating, to feel good about
themselves and to feel a sense of purpose and belonging.
FEES: Cash, personal checks, Sliding Scale, “Provider out of the network” in a PPO,
will give superbill which client needs to submit for reimbursement.
