TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: I try to tailor my treatment approach to the individual patient. Eating disorders is part of the patient’s difficulty in maintaining healthy self regulation both emotionally and physically, and my challenge is to help them create an inner state of peace and equilibrium.

I feel you can recover from an eating disorder. Recovery from anorexia is restoring normal weight, developing inner support and maintaining a normal body image (non-distorted), Recovering from Bulimia is reaching a state of non-symptoms of purging, regaining self support and reducing level of obsession about weight and shape. The same is true for other kinds of ED: fighting compulsive overeating, obsessions about food and calories, and developing a normal self regulation habits about weight and shape.

FEES: Personal Checks, Insurance – Value Options. “Provider out of the network” in a PPO: Patient needs to apply for reimbursement.
