EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERTISE: I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at UC Santa Barbara where I was a collegiate swimmer at both UC Santa Barbara and Indiana University. I completed my graduate degree in Counseling, Family, & Human Services with a specialization in Couples and Family Therapy at the University of Oregon. I specialize in helping people overcome body image issues and heal their relationship with food.

TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: It is very important to me that therapy is compassionate, personalized, and tailored to each person’s goals, needs, preferences, and sociocultural backgrounds with regard to family, race, ethnicity, class, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, and ability. The therapy approaches I lean on include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT-E for Eating Disorders, Harm Reduction, Health at Every Size, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy.
