EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERTISE: I went to medical school at University of Virginia. I then did my pediatric residency at Brown University. I was selected chief resident at Brown University and served an additional year in that role. I then did an adolescent medicine fellowship at UCSF. I was the head of adolescent medicine for Northern California at Kaiser Permanente. I then spent a year as the West Coast Medical Director at Equip.

TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: I focus on the strengths of patients and families during the treatment journey. I am hopeful that recovery is possible and I try to instill hope in my patients. I try to introduce joy in my practice and in the recovery journey. I use a HAES approach.
