EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERTISE: I work with teens and adults and specialize in working with clients who are anxious, emotionally sensitive and/or perfectionistic. I have a background in CBT, DBT and ACT which I use within a relational feminist, social justice framework.

I’m a graduate of PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium.
Prior to grad school, I worked at McLean Hospital’s OCD Institute
I completed my internship at UC Davis Counseling Services with a part time speciality in eating disorders.
My post doc was at Kaiser Oakland’s Eating Disorders Enhanced Outpatient Program
I worked at Kaiser Oakland for the past 5 years. I’ve also been a supervisor for practicum, intern and post doc students and led the Eating Disorders training program at Kaiser Oakland.

TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY:I believe that healing occurs in the context of a relationship, so I focus on creating a therapeutic relationship that feels nourishing and affirming for my clients. I also believe that each person has the innate ability to heal and grow to their full potential, but that we often can get in our own way. My job as a therapist is to help clients let go of harmful narratives that no longer serve them. Often this means acknowledging that these harmful narrative were once necessary coping strategies and accepting that moving on from them may be a messy and complicated process. I seek to help my clients embrace their own inner knowing and self-compassion, letting go of perfectionism and self criticism.
