TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY:I believe that healing occurs in the context of a relationship, so I focus on creating a therapeutic relationship that feels nourishing and affirming for my clients. I also believe that each person has the innate ability to heal and grow to their full potential, but that we often can get in our own way. My job as a therapist is to help clients let go of harmful narratives that no longer serve them. Often this means acknowledging that these harmful narrative were once necessary coping strategies and accepting that moving on from them may be a messy and complicated process. I seek to help my clients embrace their own inner knowing and self-compassion, letting go of perfectionism and self criticism.
