TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: My objective is to honor the whole person and to give those suffering the permission and tools necessary to create order where there is disorder as opposed to “getting rid of” the disorder. My goal is to find and affirm in each individual what is working, what is positive and hopeful, what is helpful, what is true. Disordered eating can be a symptom, an indicator, a guardrail, a “safety” net, an addiction, an abuse, an escape, a slow suicide… or an invitation to create a new and compelling way to cope with life.
