EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERTISE: Jaimi is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #110094), Certified Eating Disorder Special (IAEDP-CEDS), earned a certificate in Eating and Weight Disorders from the UC Berkeley Extension Center, and is currently working towards completing her FBT-credential in Family Based Therapy. All the clinicians in the group practice specialize in Adult, Adolescent and Family Eating Disorder treatment – including the full spectrum of acuity related to disordered eating, body image preoccupation, and concurrent anxiety and depression symptoms.
TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY:Jaimi’s clinical work is focused on empowering her clients to build a stronger sense of self, to build a healthier relationship with food, body, and movement, and to build confidence in the ability to respond more skillfully to conflict, problems and life stressors.
