EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERTISE: I have specialized in the treatment of eating disorders since 1995. I am certified in Family-based Treatment and completed the UC Berkeley Eating Disorder Certificate Program. I received my MSW degree from New York University in 1991 and completed a Post-Masters Clinical Certificate Program from NYU in 1996. I have worked in a variety of settings including in-patient, day treatment, and out-patient. I have been the Eating Disorder Consultant for Alameda County Behavioral Health Care since 2017.
TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: I believe in full recovery from an eating disorder. I work collaboratively with individuals, their families, and the treatment team. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment to foster healing from an eating disorder.
