EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERTISE: I am licensed to practice medicine by the California State Medical Board and I am board-certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. I have received my medical degree from Sindh Medical College, completing my psychiatry residency from Bergen Regional Medical Center, Paramus, NJ. I have been practicing Psychiatry in CA since 2003.The focus of my practice is on treating adults through the use of various psychotherapies, various psychopharmacologies, or various combinations of both, as indicated by your circumstances. My areas of interest include Anxiety, Panic disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive disorder, Psychotic disorders, Depression, Bipolar disorder, Eating disorders, Mood disorders, and Women’s health issues. In addition to offering medication treatment options, I also offer psychotherapy in the integrative model, combining targeted techniques from CBT.
TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: The focus of my practice is on treating adults through the use of various psychotherapies, various psychopharmacologies, or various combinations of both, as indicated by your circumstances. At an initial visit, my goal will be to provide you with a thorough and complete mental health evaluation, to offer you an initial diagnosis and prognosis, and to offer you best treatment recommendations and options. My immediate aim will be to restore you to your highest functional level as soon as possible.
