EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERTISE: Equip’s providers are all employees who have been licensed as required by their states, are trained by Equip, are HAES-informed, and receive weekly supervision to provide each family with comprehensive care. Our therapists are trained in Family-Based Treatment, CBT, and DBT.  All of our providers come from a diverse background across ethnicities, genders, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, abilities, and body sizes. TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: Equip is the leading virtual, evidence-based eating disorder treatment program on a mission to ensure that everyone with an eating disorder has access to treatment that works. Our care approach builds upon Family-Based Treatment (FBT) to empower families to help their loved ones through recovery at home with the support of a dedicated five-person care team including a therapist, dietitian, medical provider, peer mentor, and family mentor. For more information, visit www.equip.health.
