EDRC joins voices from around the country during the 2025 EDC Advocacy Day in Washington, DC.
This year, thousands gathered in DC to advocate for the rights and health of all Americans living with an eating disorder. EDRC members met with representatives from California and Arizona and made sure the voices of Bay Area ED survivors were heard. We hope to see you all again for next year’s Advocacy Day!
But advocacy doesn’t just stop at DC. At home, CA State Assembly Bill 2 is making progress in Sacramento, and Neveen Radwan’s commentary in CalMatters spells out exactly why we need legislation like AB 2 to protect youth on social media.
If you’d like to join us in DC for the next Advocacy Day, or if you want to make a difference in the Bay Area, consider volunteering with EDRC.
If you or someone you know is struggling with an eating disorder, you can learn more about various care options here. EDRC provides support groups and maintains a comprehensive directory of specialized treatment providers in the Bay Area. You can also support EDRC’s mission further by making a tax deductible donation.
