Counseling Psychology, specialization in Couples and Family Therapy University of Oregon, Eugene, OR I started working with Eating Disorders in 2011 working at Monte Nido’s RainRock treatment center as a Mental Health worker and therapy intern. I was also a research assistant for the Body Project group research protocol under my advisor Dr. Deanna Linnville, running The Body Project Groups with teens. I then worked for several treatment programs in San Francisco and participated in group supervision with APTEDSF under Dr. Deborah Brenner-Liss before transitioning to community mental health for a few years. I then returned to ED work in 2018 joining Evolve Wellness group and opening my own private practice. I currently supervise 2 AMFT’s both coming from ED treatment programs and with training and experience working with adolescents, adults, and families in treatment for an ED.

TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: I sincerely believe that we grow, heal, and have the power to blossom into our highest selves through relationship and self-reflection.I am trained in Post-Modern Family Systems Theory perspective utilizing training and experience with Brief Therapeutic approaches primarily in Narrative-Solutions Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Compassion Focused Therapy. Drawing from experience and client-centered collaboration, I integrate Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral approaches, Mindfulness and Compassion Focused therapies, and other evidence-based practices including Harm-Reduction and Trauma-informed practices. Furthermore, I believe in bringing social justice, equity and advocacy into mental health work as a personal practice and in community with others. To be well, we need holistic wellness that reverberates through our relationships and community.
