I think it is possible to recover from an eating disorder. There are varying degrees of recovery. Body acceptance often takes longer. Indicators of recovery include: achieving nutritional health; healthy stable weight, menses and metabolic rate; make peace with food=minimal food fears, restrictions, greater social ease; balanced, flexible, adequate, enjoyable food intake with variety; understanding hunger/fullness cues; use of NON-food/ED behaviors to cope; a small amount of time is spent thinking about hunger, food, body and weight; moderate exercise with out feeling compulsive; minimal negative food and body self-talk.

FEES: Cash, Personal Checks, Sliding Scale. If you are covered by “Provider out of the network” in a PPO, patient needs to apply for reimbursement.
