Campbell Teen & Family Therapy

CREDENTIALS/DISCIPLINE: Our staff is composed of Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Marriage & Family Therapist Associates who will help to assess whether your teen or child has an eating disorder and help you to determine what level of care is best for your family.  All of our staff our trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing). Several of our staff members are trained in CEDS (Certified Eating Disorder Specialist).  One of our staff members is an FBT (Family Based Therapy) therapist.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERTISE: All of our staff have a Masters or Arts Degree, All of our staff are EMDR trained and some are certified by EMDRIA.  Some of our staff are training in CEDS, One of our staff members is and FBT (Family Based Therapy) therapist.

TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: When treating eating disorders we use a multidisciplinary team consisting of a medical doctor, family therapy, individual therapy, a nutritionist and if needed a psychiatrist, we treat the individual using CBT and EMDR.  We treat the families with FBT if indicated.
Yes we believe it is possible to recover from an eating disorder and we define recovery as maintaining a healthy weight, realistic view of  body, developing and using healthy coping strategies, working through any family problems, reduction in distorted thinking, termination of binging, restricting, over exercising, learning to eat healthy foods and recognizing body’s signals for being full and being hungry, learning the difference between appetite and hunger.

FEES: Cash, Credit Cards, Personal Checks. If patient has a PPO with Out of Network Coverage, then we provide a statement with insurance codes needed for the patient to submit for reimbursement from their insurance company. 

INSURANCE: We only contract with Modern Health and EAP.
