The Eating Disorders Coalition for Research, Policy, & Action (EDC) is excited to host the 2nd annual Voices of Advocacy: A National Art & Writing Challenge, inviting individuals to share their voice through writing, poetry, or visual art.
This challenge is a chance for creators to have their work featured in our newsletter and on social media, and to be recognized at EDC’s Annual Advocacy Day in Washington, D.C. on April 15, 2026.
Submissions should respond to one of the prompts below:
1.“Dear Me…” Create a piece addressed to your past, present, or future self—something you wish you had known, needed to hear, or want to remember.
2. “If the World Were Listening, I Would Say…” Create a piece that shares what you want others to understand about eating disorders and recovery—and how you have advocated (or hope to advocate) for change, including around eating disorder policy priorities, diet culture, or access to mental health resources.
