TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY:

I certainly believe that a cohesive, comprehensive team approach is the best, if not only way to treat people with eating disorders. In my own work with medications, I have found that a focus first on alleviating the anxiety so often found in people with eating disorders and that worsens around normalizing food is very important.

I believe it is possible to recover from an eating disorder and I define it as improvement of body image distortions in the case of anorexia.
