EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERTISE: Trained in Pediatrics, Fellowship in Adolescent Medicine. Ran a multidisciplinary eating disorders unit (IP day hospital, IOP in New York) for 15 years. Now, Chief of Adolescent Medicine at Stanford.

Multidisciplinary treatment team approach. (Medical, Nutritionist and Mental Health). I feel you can recover from an eating disorder and I define recovery as: Weight restored, menses resumed and regular, obsessing less about food and weight, functioning well psychologically both at home and at school.
