Yes, I think it is possible to recover from an eating disorder. Eating disorder recovery is possible with the right treatment team. Recovery involves motivation, hard work, and trusting of treatment team. Recovery is achieved when one is able to eat freely and not have obsessive thoughts about food or body. It is having the ability to be flexible with intake and enjoy a variety of foods without compensatory behaviors.
