You can ensure your commitment to providing awareness, prevention and education for eating disorders will continue into the future with a bequest to Eating Disorders Resource Center (EDRC). A bequest through a will or trust is the most frequent type of planned gift made to charity. Your estate receives a charitable deduction for the full amount given, and your heirs pay no estate tax on the amount designated to charity.
The following language can be used in your will or trust to designate a gift to EDRC.
“I give, devise and bequeath to Eating Disorders Resource Center (EDRC), a non-profit public benefit corporation of the State of California, currently located at 15891 Los Gatos-Almaden Road, Los Gatos, CA 95032, and its successors and assignees, the sum of $____________, to be used as the Board of Directors, in its sole discretion, determines.”
