“Clinical Professional Luncheon
The Opioid Epidemic:
Current Trends and Best Medical Practices

Join Constellation Behavioral Health on Thursday, April 20th as we take a closer look into the opioid epidemic with Suma Singh, M.D.  Dr. Singh will discuss elements of the epidemic, and introduce a medication assisted treatment option called ER-Naltrexone (Vivitrol) to treat opiate dependence.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

As space is limited, RSVPs are required for this event. RSVP by Friday, April 14th.”

Educational Objectives:

Participants will be able to:

1. Identify the scope and depth of the opioid epidemic nationally and locally

2. Identify at least two (2) relevant social trends contributing to the opioid epidemic

3. Identify at least one (1) NIDA opioid overdose prevention measure to use in one’s clinical practice
